Far South of I-10: You can't go to waffle house again

Since there's a waffle house in front of the hotel, and when I worked in north lafayette 20 years ago, I ate there almost every day that I wasn't offshore. Unfortunately it wasn't too great, not as good as I remember. Doh, I wasted a continental voucher. Not too bad though I guess, compared to the book "the Road", a waffle house sandwich would be much appreciated in post apocalyptic america.
